Kristi is a native of East Tennessee, where she attended the Webb School of Knoxville. She attended the College of Charleston (S.C.), where she graduated with honors. In Knoxville, she gives of her time and talent regularly by providing free dental care to the area’s homeless and underprivileged. When she’s not transforming smiles with dramatic positive results, she spends most of her time with her three children, Vivian, Sophia, and Andrew.

Kristi Newton, D.D.S. and Daniel Newton, D.D.S.
The husband-and-wife team of Newton Cosmetic Dentistry met while in dental school at the University of Tennessee in Memphis. Kristi and Daniel began their career together serving the dental needs of underprivileged Navajo Indians on a reservation in Fort Defiance, Arizona. Since 2004, they have operated Newton Cosmetic Dentistry, building one of East Tennessee’s most successful practices. They have two young daughters, Vivian and Sophia. They recently added a son, Andrew, to their family. They attend Faith Promise Church.
Daniel is a Memphis native who attended Memphis University School and Rhodes College, where he also played football while earning a biology degree. Daniel enjoys playing golf, basketball, and weightlifting. He is a super hands on father who likes to do anything from playing Barbies with his daughters to jumping on the trampoline or watching football and wrestling with his son. He loves giving of his time and talent at his church.

Bev Burgan, AdministratorBev joined the Newton team in 2011 offering her experience in Human Resources as a previous business owner herself. Bev takes pride in making our patients feel comfortable with any scheduling, insurance, or dental concerns they may have. She enjoys cooking, entertaining, and spending time with her husband and three children.
Jane Clifton, AdministratorJane was born and raised in Knoxville, and she graduated from Carter High School. Her career in dental office management began in 1996 as a front office assistant and evolved into office management. She enjoys interacting with patients while assuring that they are completely satisfied with all aspects of their care. Jane is an expert in patient insurance management. She enjoys cooking, camping, and spending time with her family. She has been married for 25 years and has one daughter and son-in-law. Her free time is spent with her three beautiful grandchildren.
Tanya Haas, Registered Dental AssistantTanya joined Newton's team in 2004 where she is the hygiene assistant. She enjoys getting to know all of our patients and their families. She enjoys the outdoors, meeting new people, and spending time with her family.
Jessica Halcomb, Registered Dental AssistantJessica joined Newton's team in 2011. She is a native of East Tennessee, graduating from Midway High School. She was recently married to Andrew where she walked down the aisle in cowboy boots! She enjoys spending time with her husband, riding horses, and shopping for new boots.
Cindy Moseley, Registered Dental HygienistCindy is a native of Kingston, TN. She earned a degree in Business at East Tennessee State University in 1978. In 1988, She graduated with high honors in Dental Hygiene from Armstrong University in Savannah, Georgia. She spent 20 years traveling and working all over the world with her husband who was in the Army. She resettled back in East TN and is a proud member of the Newton team. Cindy strives to stay current in the latest dental hygiene technology and products so she can give her patients the best possible care. Cindy enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren.
Amy Seal, Registered Dental AssistantAmy has been a RDA since 1995 and joined Newton's team in 2011. She is married with two children and three grandchildren. She is an active member of her church. Her hobbies include spending time with family and pets, reading, and riding motorcycles and four wheelers. She loves talking with patients and helping with their dental care.
Tammy Sliger, RDH, Dental Hygienist Tammy earned her dental hygiene degree from East Tennessee State University in 1992. She spent four years in the Marines in California and then returned to East Tennessee and joined the Newton’s practice. She recently has completed continuing education in the latest research in periodontics, soft tissue management, and dental hygiene products. She and her husband have a son, Mason.
